I've many paintings inspired by the Sheepshead peninsula, but i love this area of the shoreline particularly on a sunny day - you could be anywhere in the world.
The colours shown are reflecting light from above and reflections from below. This was part of an 4 person exhibition called 'Coming West' - which explored the West Cork Coastline.
This painting was selected to show at Lavit Gallery Members exhibition in Cork in January and later at the Dublin Painting and Sketching Club Exhibition 2024.
