A little about me...

My background includes working in Architecture, Architectural Illustration, sign-writing, shop window illustration, and trail management. In 2017, I decided to enroll in drawing classes at Crawford College. When the COVID pandemic hit, I shifted my studies online for the following 2 years.

As of 2021, I have committed myself to working as a professional artist on a full-time basis.

Coastal living in West Cork inspires my work, drawing from the rugged landscape and unique mild climate. The grey, drizzly days create a hauntingly bleak atmosphere on both land and sea.

As a trail manager, I developed a deep appreciation for wild habitats and their plant life. Now, I aim to capture the beauty of plants thriving in wet peaty ground, from vibrant mountain grasses to lush woodlands and swaying seaweed.

Currently, I'm focused on capturing light and movement in the landscape, which is quite an exciting challenge for me.
