Anchored

This painting is all about colour and movement - seaweed and algae growing on the ropes, which anchor little boats in a small harbour. 

The title, anchored with so many interpretations has many meanings for me, like grounded - down to earth - steady - i could go on. 

This was part of an 4 person exhibition called 'Coming West' - which explored the West Cork Coastline.
