Crashing through at Paris, Garnish, Allihies

This painting was inspired during a storm in February 2021, near the pier at Garnish, west of Allihies on the Beara Peninsula. 

Paris is the local name for these rocks or small islands just off the pier - and the sea spray that day was going over them and crashing through into the calmer bay inside. 

I've painted a lot from that storm and there will no doubt be more and more inspiration from a wonderful corner of Ireland.
