Like most people i love bog cotton. As a hill-walker for years, its just wonderful to come across - they are so joyful. I've painted them a lot and no doubt will continue to do so. I had taken this photograph years ago when i was checking on the Seefin Loop walk near Kilcrohane on the beautiful Sheep's Head Peninsula - a tough but beautiful hill walk if you are interested.
