This painting was part of the West Cork Creates Exhibition in 2022, and the theme was FOLK.
I was inspired by the mountain grass, the Fionnán, which grows on the hills in west cork and changes colours Seasonally. It changes colour seasonally, from green which new, to pale yellow to orangey red, changing our hills.
